I spent a really nice week on the beach in PA with my family but am back working the rivers. The teeth in the front row are all 5 in. The nicer teeth are mostly in the second row. The Mammoth tooth in the back is almost complete.
I always tell people that visibility is overrated where I dive. Today I forgot my light at home so I just dove with no light. At 40 feet down no light from the surface gets through. It is like being in a totally dark room. After your eyes adjust to the dark you see the phosphates fly by carried by the current. I can tell direction by the direction they move so if the current is flowing west to east if the current is flowing from my left to right I know I am facing north. It is easier using a light where you can see the direction of the sediment but it is about the same.
Anyhow today in the pitch dark I found three of the 5″ teeth pictured in the first row and several of the others. I did not expect much so it was nice to find anything but a real bonus to find the nice teeth. I hope to remember my light tomorrow.

No way that is so cool!! Im 18 years old and have been researching the Megalodon since the 4th grade I find it absolutley fasanating. Do you know how old the teeth you found are?? Do you think it still exist?? Please email me your response. Thank you.
I do not think the Megalodon still lives. It is so large that would have been spotted many times. Just like the T-Rex it is long gone.
