Early on in my first dive I found what turned out to be a Giant Ground Sloth Tooth. It is only the second one I have ever found. Because I had zero visibility, I thought it was a rib at first and tossed it aside. As soon as it left my hand I thought that it seemed to be too heavy for a rib bone.
I’m glad I returned. I also found a nice Benedini tooth measuring 2-3/8″ and several really nice Megalodon teeth.
