Massive Pathological Megalodon Shark Tooth

This is a massive pathological Megalodon tooth that I found diving recently.   It is much wider than you would expect on a 5″ tooth.  It is nearly as wide as it is long.  It measures over 5″ long and over 4-3/4″ wide.   You rarely see teeth shaped like this anywhere.  It was in 100 feet of water 40 miles off of Wilmington NC.
