High Quality hastalis (Extinct Mako) Shark Tooth
This is a giant collector quality hastalis giant White Shark tooth. It measures over 2-1/2″ long and over 1-2/3″ wide. This shark was a direct ancestor of the modern Great White Shark but it had been known for years as a fossilized Mako tooth until it was reclassified. Still many collectors call it a Mako. Large 3.5 Inch Plus Megalodon Shark Tooth
Purchase includes one from this group with the longest edge at or over 3-1/2″ long. Plenty of serrations even with the chipped root this tooth makes is an affordable nice, large tooth for newer collectors at a great price. Display on either the side (L1 or L2) rather than the root to display the serrations. The uneven root will not balance in the display stand. This collection was found diving inter-coastal waters.
