All Teeth

This is a stunning collector quality Megalodon tooth. The enamel, and root are very nice. It has one spot of feeding damage that was probably caused by biting down on something hard back in the day. The serrations are sharp and most are in place including the tip serration.  Unlike many lighter and more fragile imported teeth on the market this is a very solid and heavy tooth that I found diving near Savannah GA. It measures almost 5-2/3″ long and over 4-1/2″ wide.  It is in the top 10% of all that I find. The enamel and root are in great condition. There was a tiny piece of lifted enamel hanging near the tip.   It was only about 1/32nd of an inch but could have caught something and torn larger it so I ground it off and smoothed it.   It did not change the tooth at all other than that 1/32″ area.  The serrations are super sharp and just about every one is in place.
