Awesome Wide Megalodon Shark Tooth

This is an amazing collector quality Meg tooth with a unique wide shape. It is not really long enough to be a lateral tooth this wide but it seems a bit too large for a normal posterior tooth. It is from a dive in 100 feet of water off Wilmington NC. It measures over 3-3/4″ long and almost 3″ wide. The root and enamel are in nice condition. Price includes display stand and certificate of authenticity.
Scientists believe these giant sharks cruised the waters off the East Coast 3-10 Million years ago and grew to 60 feet long. I dive in 40 to 100 feet of water to find the fossilized teeth I sell. I can be reached at [email protected] with any questions.
