Beautiful Large Pyritized Megalodon Shark Tooth

This is a giant pyritized Megalodon tooth from my collection that I found diving in 40 feet of water near Savannah GA. The bourrelet is heavily pyritized. It measures almost 4″ long and 2-2/3″ wide. I find very few teeth with this much pyrite. The enamel and root are in great condition but the tip is chipped. The serrations are super sharp and most are in place.
Scientists believe these giant sharks cruised the waters off the East Coast 3-10 Million years ago and grew to 60 feet long. I dive in 40 to 100 feet of water to find the fossilized teeth I sell.
