Beautiful Large hastalis “Mako” Shark Tooth Necklace.

This is a stunning top quality hastalis (Mako) shark tooth pendent.  Unlike modern Mako species, the Isurus hastalis was a direct ancestor of the modern Great White Shark and this tooth is very similar in size and shape to the teeth from the modern Great White. The enamel and blade are in top condition. the tip and edge are as sharp as they come.   I found the tooth diving recently near Savannah GA in 40 feet of water.   It is double wrapped with sturdy tarnish resistant black wire and comes on a 20″ necklace.
