This is a stunning collector quality posterior Megalodon tooth. The enamel, and root are very nice. The serrations are sharp and most are in place. It measures over 3-1/8″ long and just under 3″ wide. Unlike many lighter and more fragile imported teeth on the market this is a very solid and heavy tooth that I found diving near Savannah GA. Includes display stand, certificate of authenticity.
Scientists believe these creatures grew as large as a modern whale and measured as much as 60 feet long. I find them SCUBA diving from 40 to 100 feet of depth. Includes cleaning plus info on the shark teeth that I find. e-mail me at [email protected] or call 912-656-2920 with any questions.
