Museum Quality Lower Hastalis (Extinct Mako) Shark Tooth
SKU: g5162
$85.00
Long and mean describes this museum quality lower hastalis (Mako) tooth. The Isurus hastalis Mako was a direct ancestor of the modern Great White Shark. It measures over 2-3/4″ long and almost 1-1/2″ wide. The enamel and root are in top condition and the tip is super sharp. Includes display stand, certificate of authenticity.
Scientists believe these creatures grew as large as a modern whale and measured as much as 60 feet long. I find them SCUBA diving from 40 to 100 feet of depth.
