Giant Top Quality Lower Megalodon Shark Tooth with Interesting Pattern of Bite Mark in the Bourrelet and Root

This is a giant top quality Megalodon tooth that I found diving recently in 40 feet of water near Savannah GA. It measures just under 4″ long and over 2-1/2″ wide.  This is in the top 10% of all that I find. The enamel and root are in top condition. The serrations are sharp and most are in place including the tip. there is cool bite mark in the bourrelet and root probably from the shark biting its own toot while it was being shed during a feeding frenzy.  It is a stunning and interesting tooth that will add to any collection.

Scientists believe these giant sharks cruised the waters off the East Coast 3-10 Million years ago and grew to 60 feet long.  I dive in 40 to 100 feet of water to find the fossilized teeth I sell.   I can be reached at [email protected] with any questions. Includes display stand, certificate of authenticity.
