This is a massive top quality perm Whale tooth that I found diving recently near Savannah GA. I find very few this nice and large. The enamel cap is in great condition These whales were thought to be a food source for the Megalodon. It would be a great whale tooth to add to any fossil collection.
Scientists believe these giant sharks cruised the waters off the East Coast 3-10 Million years ago and grew to 60 feet long. I dive in 40 to 100 feet of water to find the fossilized teeth I sell. I can be reached at bill@megateeth.com with any questions.
