This is large museum quality hastalis White Shark tooth necklace. It measures just under 2-1/2″ long and almost 2″ wide. This shark was a direct ancestor of the modern Great White Shark but it had been known for years as a fossilized Mako tooth until it was reclassified. Still many collectors call it a Mako. The blade and root are in very nice condition. I double wrapped it for added strength with a durable black coated copper wire. It comes with a 20 inch black necklace. It is a stunning tooth at a great price.
