Large Museum Quality Jet-Black Megalodon Shark Tooth Necklace

This is a stunning large Jet-Black top Quality Giant hastalis White Shark tooth necklace.  It measures just under 2-1/4″ long and almost 1-1/2″ wide.  This shark was a direct ancestor of the modern Great White Shark but it had been known for years as a fossilized Mako tooth until it was reclassified. Still many collectors call it a Mako.  The blade and root are in very nice condition. It has been double wrapped for added strength in a durable black coated copper wire.
