This is a stunning top quality Megalodon tooth that I found diving recently in 40 feet of water near Savannah GA. It measures just under 4″ long and over 2-1/2″ wide. It is in the top 10% of all that I find. The serrations have feeding damage but the root, enamel and jet-black bourrelet could not be nicer. It is a stunning tooth that will add to any collection.
Scientists believe these giant sharks cruised the waters off the East Coast 3-10 Million years ago and grew to 60 feet long. I dive in 40 to 100 feet of water to find the fossilized teeth I sell.
