Large Top Quality Jet-Black hastalis “Mako” Shark Tooth Necklace.

This is a large top quality hastalis (Mako) Shark tooth necklace. It measures almost 2-1/2″ long and over 1-1/2″ wide. This shark was a direct ancestor of the modern Great White but it had been known for years as a fossilized Mako tooth by collectors. Still many collectors call it a Mako. The blade and root are in excellent condition. It has been quadruple wrapped for added strength in a durable black coated aluminum wire. It comes with a 20″ black necklace cord.
