This is a massive polished Megalodon tooth. It measures just under 6″ long and over 4″ wide. Because it has been exposed to sand and gravel for many years, the blade has been ground and polished to a glossy shine. A mineral called tiger eye has been inlaid in a small crack in the blade. The root is in great condition. I found it diving recently in 100 feet of water near Wilmington NC. Price includes free display stand, certificate of authenticity.
