MASSIVE Polished Megalodon Shark Tooth with Pyrite Inlay

This is a massive polished Megalodon tooth from the NC ledges. I found it diving recently near Wilmington NC in 100 feet of water. It measures almost 6″ long and over 4-2/3″ wide. A friend inlaid the root with pyrite for me and it makes it a spectacular looking tooth. Includes display stand and certificate of authenticity.

Scientists believe these giant sharks cruised the waters off the East Coast 3-10 Million years ago and grew to 60 feet long.  I dive in 40 to 100 feet of water to find the fossilized teeth I sell.   I can be reached at bill@megateeth.com with any questions.
