MASSIVE Polished Megalodon Shark Tooth

This is an awesome polished Megalodon tooth. Because it has been exposed to sand and gravel for many years, the blade has been ground and polished to a glossy shine. It measures h5201″ long and 3-3/4″ wide.  I found it diving recently in 100 feet of water near Wilmington NC. Price includes free display stand, certificate of authenticity.

The Megalodon was the largest and most powerful predator in the ocean. This prehistoric shark could grow to about 60 feet (18 meters) in length and had a bite force that far exceeded that of any known animal, including the Tyrannosaurus rex. The Megalodon’s diet likely consisted of whales, dolphins, seals, and other large marine mammals. Its teeth, could reach over 7 inches (18 cm) in length, The Megalodon is thought to have gone extinct around 3.6 million years ago, possibly due to changes in the marine environment and competition with other predators.
