MASSIVE Super Sharp Collector Quality Megalodon Shark Tooth 6.07″ Long and Over 4-1/2″ Wide

This is a massive super sharp collector quality Megalodon tooth that I found diving recently in 40 feet of water near Savannah GA. It measures over 6″ long and over 4-1/2″ wide. It is in the top 10% of all that I find. The enamel is in great condition. The root is a little chipped but it is mostly intact.  There is a crack on the right side of the tooth where it looked like the enamel and root could chip.  I stabilized the ares so it would never come apart and I will guarantee it will not ever break along the crack.  The serrations are super sharp and just about every one is in place. The Megalodon was the largest and most powerful predator ever to have lived in the ocean. This prehistoric shark could have grown to about 60 feet (18 meters) in length and had a bite force that far exceeded that of any known animal, including the Tyrannosaurus rex. The Megalodon’s diet likely consisted of whales, dolphins, seals, and other large marine mammals. Its teeth, could reach over 7 inches (18 cm) in length, The Megalodon is thought to have gone extinct around 3.6 million years ago, possibly due to changes in the marine environment and competition with other predators.
