PYRITIZED Colorful Museum Quality Megalodon Shark Tooth
This is a colorful pyritized museum quality Megalodon tooth that I found diving recently in 40 feet of water near Savannah GA. It measures 4-1/2″ long and 3-1/16″ wide. The bourrelet contains pyrite that does not photograph well because the light reflects off of it but it shines like glitter. It is really cool feature of this amazing tooth. This is in the top 1% of all Megalodon teeth that I find. There is also some feeding damage along the right side of the blade that shows the power of this creature. The enamel, bourrelet and root are in top condition. The tip and serrations are super sharp and mot of the serrations are in place. It is a stunning tooth that will add to any collection. Includes display stand, certificate of authenticity.
Scientists believe these giant sharks cruised the waters off the East Coast 3-10 Million years ago and grew to 60 feet long. I dive in 40 to 100 feet of water to find the fossilized teeth I sell. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
