The unusual tip & stress lines suggest feeding damage on this calico colored hastalis “Mako” White Shark tooth necklace comes from a direct ancestor of the modern Great White Shark. Known for years as a fossilized Mako tooth until it was reclassified although many collectors call it a Mako. The blade and root are in very nice condition. It has been double wrapped for added strength in a durable black coated copper wire & comes with a black necklace.
