This is a massive high quality Megalodon tooth at a great price. It measures almost 5-1/4″ long and over 3-3/4″ wide. The enamel and root are in nice condition. The enamel has some peel on the non-display but it is still a great massive tooth. It is from the Meg Ledges near Wilmington NC in 100 feet of water. Includes display stand and certificate of authenticity.
Scientists believe these giant sharks cruised the waters off the East Coast 3-10 Million years ago and grew to 60 feet long. I dive in 40 to 100 feet of water to find the fossilized teeth I sell. I can be reached at bill@megateeth.com with any questions.
