This is a stunning museum quality Megalodon tooth that I found diving recently in 40 feet of water near Savannah GA. It is in the top 5% of all that I find.  It measures right at 5″ long on both sides and 3-1/2″ wide.  The enamel and root are in top condition. The tip and serrations are super sharp and just about every serration is in place. It is a stunning tooth that will add to any collection. Includes display stand, certificate of authenticity.

This is a stunning museum quality Megalodon tooth. It measures 5-1/2″ long and 4+” wide. The enamel, bourrelet and root are in TOP condition. The tip and serrations are super sharp and just about every serration is in place. No tooth is perfect but this is in the top 1% of all that I find.

The Megalodon was the largest and most powerful predator ever to have lived in the ocean. This prehistoric shark could have grown to about 60 feet (18 meters) in length and had a bite force that far exceeded that of any known animal, including the Tyrannosaurus rex. The Megalodon’s diet likely consisted of whales, dolphins, seals, and other large marine mammals. Its teeth, could reach over 7 inches (18 cm) in length, The Megalodon is thought to have gone extinct around 3.6 million years ago, possibly due to changes in the marine environment and competition with other predators. The root has a little chip on the right side but it is mostly intact.   The tip and serrations are super sharp and just about every serration is in place.
