This is a massive polished Megalodon tooth with pyrite inlay where there was a small chip.. Because it has been exposed to sand and gravel for many years, the blade has been ground and polished to a glossy shine. The root is in great condition. I found it diving recently in 100 feet of water near Wilmington NC. Price includes free display stand, certificate of authenticity.
Scientists believe these giant sharks cruised the waters off the East Coast 3-10 Million years ago and grew to 60 feet long. I dive in 40 to 100 feet of water to find the fossilized teeth I sell. I can be reached at bill@megateeth.com with any questions.
