Massive Museum Quality Lateral Megalodon Shark Tooth With Amazing Bourrelet
This is a giant unique (rear lateral posterior shaped) Megalodon tooth that is in top 2% of all that I find. It measures 4-3/4″ long and over 4″ wide. These are unusual dimensions because the tooth is way too large to be a posterior tooth but too wide for a normal lateral tooth. The enamel, bourrelet and root could not be much nicer. The tip and serrations are super sharp and most of the serrations are in place. It is a stunning massive tooth that will add to any collection.
Scientists believe these giant sharks cruised the waters off the East Coast 3-10 Million years ago and grew to 60 feet long. I dive in 40 to 100 feet of water to find the fossilized teeth I sell. I can be reached at email@example.com with any questions. Includes display stand, certificate of authenticity .
